The difference between high-frequency quenching and intermediate frequency quenching are mainly different operating frequency, quenching depth, equipment cost and complexity of different aspects, as follows:
1, working frequency: high-frequency quenching equipment frequency is usually more than 50Khz, medium frequency quenching equipment working frequency is usually 1-10Khz, the higher the frequency is more suitable for small parts, surface heating of forged parts.
2, quenching depth: high-frequency quenching equipment quenching depth of 1.2-1.5mm, medium-frequency quenching equipment quenching depth is generally 3.5-6mm, the deeper the quenching layer, the lower the frequency of use.
3, the diameter of heat transmission: high-frequency quenching equipment heat transmission diameter of 4-16mm workpiece for heat treatment, medium frequency quenching equipment can be more than 45mm diameter workpiece for heat treatment, the larger the diameter of the workpiece, the lower the frequency, so the medium frequency is suitable for large metal objects processing.
