Annealing and normalizing of induction heating equipment

I. Annealing
Induction heating equipment to heat the workpiece to a suitable temperature, according to the specifications of the workpiece and the material using different insulation time, followed by slow cooling, so that the internal organization of the metal to achieve or close to equilibrium, to get a better process performance and use of performance, or to prepare for further quenching.
Classification of annealing:
1, stress annealing
Stress annealing, also known as low-temperature annealing (or high-temperature tempering), is mainly used to eliminate the residual stress of hot-rolled parts, cold-drawn parts castings, forgings, weldments and so on.
2、Spherical annealing
Mainly used in carbon steel and alloy tool steel (eg: manufacturing molds, gauges, cutting tools, etc.)
3、Complete annealing and isothermal annealing
Complete annealing, also known as recrystallization annealing, generally known as annealing, mainly used in forging, casting and hot rolling profiles, sometimes used in welded structures.
Second, normalizing
Induction heating equipment to heat the workpiece to a suitable temperature, followed by cooling in the air. The effect of normalizing and annealing is almost the same, but the organization will be thinner, generally used to improve the cutting performance of the material, and sometimes for the lower requirements of the parts together with the final heat treatment.
